In a world where Blackness is weaponized and treated as a political object, Blackazine emphasizes the personal, poetic, and proud encounters of Black culture-- highlighting different areas of importance that exist within Black culture and sharing different experiences, memories, and safe spaces-- while utilizing found archival images from various African American archive collections.
